ECONOMETRIC EVALUATION OF PUBLIC DEBT ON INFLATION: EVIDENCE FROM KOSOVO AND NORTH MACEDONIA

The nexus between public debt and inflation has been continuously investigated, but after the pandemic, it returned to center of researchers' courtesy. Consequently, this research examines influences debt, interest rates, trade openness, GDP growth, foreign direct investments on inflation. study employs secondary data from 2008 2021 incorporates a mixed econometric technique such as Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) Arrellano-Bover/Blundell-Bond approach. study's findings argue that openness significantly influence inflation, whereas growth negative impact. Because limited number observations in context research, we have not able evaluate impact long term. uniqueness relevance stem its use combined approach, recent months, continuous increase recorded throughout world. current arguments inspire productive discourse among academics, scholars, policy-making entities.
